My lovely wife just moved to the Number Two District Manager in the Country yesterday. Her district has close to 40 million dollars in sales for her company this year (it is a 1 billion dollar per year company with 42 District Managers. Not bad for a company that specializes in high grade beds....ones that are high tech that are hooked up to the Internet to tell you how you slept and what you can do to correct any deficiencies. This means she will win an all expense paid vacation for her and her husband (big smile) to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico which is located in the Baja Pennensula just south of San Diego, Californa. I have been to Cabo several times before, and it is lovely. Cold beer, hot women and great food. What more can a man ask for..........OK, and Hammocks everywhere also. I think it takes place sometime this summer. For a company that is based in Minnesota, they should hold it during the winter months........just a thought.

Just googled it, and it looks pretty cool. I'm off to Cuba in February for the daughters 21st (payed for by dad of course) so the youngest one has to come as well. Is it true that American tourists aren't allowed there?

Is it true that American tourists aren't allowed there? Not anymore. Obama lifted all sanctions against Cuba. My wife and I are also going next year (2017). They have a lot of functioning antique cars still in operation. I want to hire a driver and a '57 Chevy for a day to take me to all the tourist spots. Good choice Granty...............brush up on your Spanish, and take foreign money with you. The Cuban Peso isn't squat, but the Pound and Dollar are. Don't bother with the exchange.....you'll get more for your "Buck" so to speak.

Hope they all learn it before the end of February. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-38467299

You'll have to let us know how the trip goes, Freon. The airfare is a lot but it is never going to be dirt cheap to do that amount of flying to & from those destinations. Good luck.
