Indivisible - - - - A Guide for anyone who wants to change their political environment
This is really pretty good reading material…..not very long, only 23 pages, but well worth the look. The Guide “Indivisible” was written by several Democratic staffers to help people understand politics (in the USA) and how they can effectively change the political environment.
Although Democrats wrote it, they took notice of how the Republican “Tea Party” effected change during the Obama Administration.
So, no mater what your political affiliation may be, it is well worth reading…........................if not only just to understand how politicians think and what drives them.
I think this guide would also be useful in other political environments as well, like Australia, Canada or Great Britain.
Here is the link to it:

Politics is the process of legally robbing your enemies.

And........we wouldn't have it any other way.....no?
Those in Power use their power...............not always for the betterment of their constituents.

This is why I like sortition to select legislators and direct democracy to strike down bad laws and recall officials - but not to make laws.

And who would you suggest to make the laws?

The legislature (um, "the legislators"...). All laws expire after 7 years (sunsetting).

You might need a roll over clause or else you could get a lot of people going scot free in the interim between laws.

That has never been necessary where sunset clauses have been implemented. The British "did not" have a standing army for over 200 years!
