It seems as though the EU Government is trying to find every way possible to shit can the BREXIT vote. Why is that?

Yes, it's a mystery. It would have to be because Britain was of some benefit to the EU. Who would have thought!! Surely it couldn't have anything to do with money.

If we don't leave for whatever reason. I'll never vote again.
You know what they say "If voting did you any good, they wouldn't let you vote"

If the House of Lords resists this, I reckon there will be an impetus for a Republic or at least the abolition of the Lords.

They should not have the right to resist it. That would be a travesty. What is the use of a referendum if you get a result and a small political group overturns it, saying the general population didn't really mean it or whatever. There will always be some people unhappy with any decision but I always thought in a referendum, majority ruled.

In the British form of democracy, the general public delegates representatives to make decisions for them. If the delegated representatives (read Members of Parliament) decide that a subject is so important that it needs a referendum to ascertain the true will of the people, then the result of the referendum should be taken as gospel, If either Parliament or the House of Lords goes against this decision, Britain is no longer a democracy and has regressed to the olden days when the aristocracy ruled and the peasants just went along.

May is going for a hard Brexit. Looks like democracy wins.

I reckon May will get it. Or they could just legislate the UKSC out of existence. LOL.

I was on the dole a few month back and on my way to signing on, I popped into our MP's office just to give her a bit grief about me being on the dole and all this cheap foreign labour taking our jobs. Anyway she wasn't at home (as always) but her secretary was, and I asked her if her boss was going to vote against the people of South Shields and vote NO? She told me she was voting YES to respect her constituents decision. Here's a cow who (like all Labour parasites) no longer represent the working people.
