I don't always agree with what Pauline Hanson has to say but I think she is right on this one. There is a poll being taken at the moment. It is about citizenship and whether citizenship requirements might be tightened (I think the talk was eg requiring a longer term of residence here before being eligible but it is not clear from the poll itself) Did you know about any poll? I didn't. But the thing is, anyone can vote. They can vote multiple times if they use different computers, they can vote from anywhere in the world, they can vote whether they are Autralian citizens or not etc. Apparently the poll results are going to be tabled in parliament in Dec, that is what worries me. You can't get legitimate results with a poll like this. Not on any topic. Apparently it is being promoted by certain groups overseas to push their agenda but to me, politicians should be making this decision, not basing it on a poll. If they want to know what the electorate thinks, do a proper survey, one person, one vote. I saw news reports about Pauline Hanson's objections but only one place actually showed a link to the poll. www.sbs.com.au/news/pauline-hanson-claims-foreign-interference-in-online-citizenship-poll

no poll should be used to make political decisions or laws, its akin to making taxes over an unproven scientific theory ie: the carbon tax, and in new zealand taxing farmers for animal farts..
but that's how the filthy left works, using ridiculous tactics to get their own way, remember when that bitch gillard wanted to make it illegal for people to deny man made climate change ?
left politicians are getting more ridiculous and dangerous to the people they are suppose to serve and that goes for every democratic country in the world.
