Here we are, in April already! I hope you are all having a nice break over Easter. We'll be having a quiet day today. Yesterday it was my granddaughter's first birthday so we went to my daughter's place for a bit of a party. The party girl wasn't really interested in cake & candles but the older kids had a great time blowing them out for her later on. Here are some photos of the day, various family members and in laws. With her parents, opening some presents. The other little girl on the left (below) is another grandchild, she is 3.

Wow, you Ozzies have a good standard of living, the sun's even shining. Probably the same standard of living as you have, though maybe we have more sun than you at the moment. Will be the other way round though in a couple of months! Meant to add. In the second photo, that is my son (at the back) with his wife, and the woman in red on the left is one of my daughters with her daughter and husband (cap)

I can guarantee, you have more sun than us in your winter, than we see in our summer.

haha. maybe, not sure. It depends on the day. I know we get some absolutely beautiful sunny days even in July. Not hot at all mind you. In fact quite crisp. But nice anyway.
Others are gloomy & overcast.
You've got to remember I am down south & so is Joe actually. We don't get snow but we do get lots of cooler weather.
