The caravan season starts Easter weekend, so I thought I'd treat myself to a top of the range air gun. German of course, and I know Daddy-O would of loved it.

DaddyO would have loved this post for sure and would have been interested in the gun as I think he had a lot of them.
My dad used to go rabbiting as a boy & I think they took along a ferret and nets.

Once read something like, a couple of dozen rabbits were released into the wild in Australia in 18 something, and now they're a massive problem. A bit like Muslims.

I think it was in Barwon, Victoria and what I read was it was a wealthy landowner in 1859 who released 2 dozen rabbits for sport. Plus on the first fleet there were some domesticated rabbits used for food. but within a short time of the Barwon release, the rabbits had become a scourge & today still are. introducing new plants & animals isn't a good idea as their natural predators aren't around so they get out of hand. We've got rabbits, cane toads, fire ants, cats, none of which we really need. www.nma.gov.au/online_features/defining_moments/featured/rabbits_introduced

The rabbits on our property are thriving! At night, driving up the driveway, they scurry left right and centre at the sight of oncoming headlights loll....
