Hope you were able to work inside today, Joe. Bit warm over this way. This is how we spent some of today though. It actually felt a bit chilly in the pool at first, though the water was about 29-30c. Kids enjoyed themselves. Bit of a fight with the yellow submarine though with the youngest trying to push the older one out when they were in it together briefly. LOL I was only in the pool for about an hour, lashings of sunscreen but I can feel my face slightly tight. Not burnt though thank goodness. I wear a rash vest like the kids. Their father though goes in hatless and topless and doesn't burn. Life is not fair sometimes!!

Yeah........go ahead and rub it in. It is 29 F at my house in Sunny Florida right now. That's like -2 C.
Feel free to jump in my pool........after you chip the ice away.

It took me 5 minutes to get fully into our pool & that was 30c water & 42c in the air. I don't really like the extremes-heat or cold. PS I felt sorry for the players at the Aust Open tennis. Which reminds me, couple of Americans were bashed by gang of teens leaving the tennis one night, about 11pm. I'd be very interested to know the nationality of the gang members but they're not saying a word about it, just that 'teens' have been arrested.

I didn't think the temperature dipped like that in Florida, that's what we're getting right now in unsunny South Shields. www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ne33But it's warming up Monday onwards.
