Wow, that is a beauty, Joe. It looked lovely when you owned it but it sure has been revamped to within an inch of its life!!
It reminds me of about a week or so ago I was googling our old address from about 30 years or more back. It too has been extended etc. It is nowhere near the class of your ex house, in fact I don't like some of the décor at all, but the strange thing was as I flicked through the photos, I could not even recognise any rooms except the lounge area. Not one.
Funny story. We moved out of the house when my first 2 children were young, the youngest one was about 18 months. Fast forward till her early 20s. She had a boyfriend and one day they called round to visit friends of his family. As they arrived, she said she felt the outside was familiar, it looked like her parents' old house, where she used to live. Next day they asked to see phots & sure enough, it was. Apparently nothing like it inside.
Had she been calling now though she wouldn't know it from outside either, It was single storey, been changed to a double storey.

One thing that just popped into my mind. Joe, your ex home now has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms but I wonder how many people are living in it. These are photos of a place called Coath Cottage. It was built in 1860 by my grt grt grandfather. He and his wife Nellie raised 11 children here. Coath cottage was located in Bendigo, just across the road from Victoria Reef mine, which my grt grt grandfather and his brothers & friends owned, so big groups of miners used that house for meals. The photos are actually from realestate website as the house went for sale in 2008 but in a monumental bit of bad luck, the new owner had only moved in the day before when the 2009 bushfires swept through and it was destroyed. A replica has since been built on the site. But it makes me smile to think of then and now. 13 people in a one bathroom, 3 bedroom house and they probably thought they were well off. Nowadays a lot of the huge homes such as your previous home have probably only got 4 people max living there.

correct prob 4 people living there 3 extra bedrooms and 1 bathroom each and you dont need to use a bedroom for an office it has one also and a small gym and a billiard room. and what about the alfresco on its own with built in bar be cue and a huge outdoor table and chairs all under a separate building. p.s i bet the owners dont sell paint for a business lol.

Try this Joe. Download Google Earth from here. It is free.
Put in the address at the search page on the left (184 Spring Rd, Dingley Village, Victoria, Australia) I'm not sure of the Village part.....it came up when I put the address in.
Hit enter, then scroll down with the roller on your mouse until you hit the street view. Voila....amazing stuff happens. You can left click the mouse and rotate it so you can see both sides of the street. You can go forward by clicking the mouse, or backward. Very cool program. Then go look at your house or office.

Joe, 'google maps' is a must have!
I have never even had to download google earth to get it although google earth is amazing.
But put the search term google maps in your computer, then click on it when it comes up in the results. You should then be able to type in any address and if you also click on the arrow next to the address bar, you can ask for directions.
So for instance I could type in my present address and your old address and it would come up with a couple of ways for me to drive there, plus tell me how long it would take.
I use it all the time!!
Double Click on the photo here & that will make it bigger for you to view.
www.google.com.au/maps/place/184+Spring+Rd,+Dingley+Village+VIC+3172/@-37.9741638,145.1310733,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x6ad66cb23c391abd:0xfff3219e9bf08338!8m2!3d-37.974168!4d145.133262
Had to laugh at your bit about the owners not selling paint for a business. Bet they weren't teachers either.
