HOW funny these pranks are, just saw a tow truck push a car down a bit of a hill then roll down to a garage , the lady driving it asks the attendant to check the oil , when the attended opened up the bonnet there was no engine in it. do any body here remember doing a prank.

I can't say I can recall doing any pranks but I do remember one candid camera episode in England, set in a supermarket, where music came on and they asked customers to take a partner for a waltz. One man went up to a woman with a trolley, introduced himself and spun her expertly down the aisle. Then when the music stopped, he thanked her and off they went their separate ways. Both excellent at dancing. I have a cousin who (with his father) went over to England many years ago. I think it was to mark 50th anniversary of the end of the war as my uncle had served in the RAF, so he wasn't young-must have been 1995. At the time, Neighbours was screening in UK. My cousin had a fancy camera and quite often in cafes, he would start filming and would claim they were filming for Neighbours. A few people believed them and were quite impressed, apparently.

I loved Candid Camera. Our family would gather around the TV with a giant bowl of popcorn each week and watch it. It was absolutely hilarious to see.
Pranks.......not me, but there was this one instance when I was 18 and my brother was 23. He was in the Navy, and just got back from a TDY in Vietnam. We decided we would go to Juarez, MX for some fun. We were in a bar called "El Submarino" having a few shots of Tequila. I went to the bar to order another round. When I did I asked the bartender if he had any daughters. He said "Si Senor, I have three". I told him my brother was in the Navy and had been out to sea for 3 years and needed the "assistance" of one of his daughters, who might also be able to make a few extra American Dollars this evening. To say the least, he was pissed.
When he brought the drinks over to our table he said a few derogatory things to my brother, who responded by hitting the bartender in the gut. Then the brawl started. I was surprised, but my brother got the best of him and the bartender retreated back to the bar......where he immediately picked up a telephone and made a call. I told my brother "We need to get out of here, right now". I guess he was feeling the "after glow" of his victory and thus would not budge.
Within five minutes a Federally (If you have ever been to Mexico you will note these are the guys who have the Blue Stripe down each leg and the only people in the country allowed to carry a gun). The bartender pointed out my brother and the Federally immediately threw him to floor and started to beat the living crap out of him. Well, what's a good brother supposed to do in a situation like this? I picked up a wooden chair that I thought was pretty strong and hit "El Capitan" as hard as I could over the back of his head. The chair exploded, but El Capitan did not even blink. Instead, he grabbed me, threw me to the floor next to my brother and commenced to beat the crap out of both of us.
We ended up in the Juarez jail, which had no roof nor bathroom......just a big pile of crap in one of the corners......until the next day. The Judge told us we had $142 on our person and lo and behold, our fine came to exactly $142.....imagine that.
To get back across the bridge into El Paso, there was a two cent fee at that time. I had no money left on me, but my brother had about a dollar in change, but he refused to give me any........he figured out what I had done. He crossed into the USA and left me in Mexico.
I learned to be careful of the pranks that you pull.......they can always backfire on you.
I got back about an hour later, after having to beg an American GI for 2 cents........very humiliating it was.

Good grief. I don't know what to say. It sounds like something from a wild western film, to hit someone on the head with a chair. I am surprised you have been allowed back into Mexico with a criminal record!! A two cent fee? No one could accuse them of overcharging, could they!
We have not even had 1 or 2 cent coins in this country for over 20 years or so and I think the 5 cent coins are in the firing lines at the moment. Mind you, your brother should have paid your fee, he's the one who really started the trouble by punching the bartender. And not listening to you when you said to leave. Least he could have done was get you out of the country.

yes they were great fun those shows, person going to the petrol station and the server pulling out the oil dip stick and it went on and on about 15 feet long. or the lady with a flat tyre on her car and asking for help and then saying i think i will blow it up with my mouth [ala trick wheel] and puts her mouth on it and blows up the tyre. but i was part of a prank . you see in the old days i was a packer in the supermarket at night when the stores used to close , anyway wednesday was a light night it was more of bringing stock on the shelves forward and so. so i night we got someone to get in the bottom large shelf of the toilet rolls , then we stacked the front of the toilets rolls which made it look full, then we called someone to isle 3 and when he walked down it the chap jumped out from the toilet rolls , lucky he did not get a heart attack . back to supermarkets [this is a joke] a chap hired a bloke to get rid of his naging wife, his name was artie . so the chap gave artie a photo and said she goes to safeway supermarket each morning about 10. so artie sees her and goes over to her and strangles here. anyway archie goes to the chap i did it can i have my money please, the chap said you got the wrong person, anyway artie tries the next day and he got the wrong person , then on the third day artie chokes this lady and gets it right , so he goes up to the chap for his money and the chap gave him $1 [next day in the paper it says on the front page artiechokes 3 for a $1 at safeway supermarket.
