For me................it's trying to fold a fitted sheet. I'm convinced that it cannot be done.
It's easy to fold the top sheet, but the bottom.............No Way Jose.
I've tried everything, including putting the "corners" of the sheet on my fists, but still, I end up with a sheet that is no more than a "controlled wrinkle".
Fortunately, when you put the sheet on the bed you have to stretch the living crap out of it, and Voila................no wrinkles.
Very frustrating...............to say the least.

I agree, they're a total pain. I did see a youtube clip once on the correct way to do it. Don't bother searching it out, as far as I can see, it makes no difference. I just aim for a fold that is loosely based on the concept of a rectangle and pop it away. Sometimes I iron over the top though to get out wrikles. May as well not bother!!

Here's how we do it.
1. Take the dirty sheets off the bed.
2. Put them in the washing machine.
3. After the wash cycle, put them in the dryer.
4. After they are dry, put them back on the bed.
No folding required.

I tried that method, but to no avail. I'll try it again and if it still does not work for me.........I'm going to the Peachy Beachy Method. The bed can wait 2 hours for the washing.

By the way, I just bought a new washing machine. It's an LG with an extremely large tub. I noticed it is a "Water Saver" machine. When I look through the glass top, it appears as though the is not much water at all in it. It almost looks like I'm washing 15 pounds of clothes in 2 cups of water. Is this normal? The clothes come out clean, but it sure looks weird.

I have a front loader, they don't use much either. If it's a new machine and it is washing fine then yes, it is normal. Give thanks-you'll have a smaller water bill!

TALKING ABOUT MACHINES my wife texed me last thursday and said the dishwasher was broken i said it must be 20 years old just go and buy a new one , check out some stores , as she was on school holidays she went off , anyway after texing me 20 times with rubish she brought one , so i go and picked it up from the store and bring it home i install it . no problems , she did the first test wash all ok , but she noticed that the large plates were to big for the bottom rack so all she could do is swap the cups from the top and plates were the cups go , but she didnt like that so she brought some new large plates which were a bit smaller, not expensive , now to the climax of this story. [ had i of brought the dish washer , she would of been telling me off even today , bla bla you should of measured this and that , but because it was her nothing said. to all of you except sherri is this normal practice from wifes.

I know what you mean Joe. They give you a "Honey-Do" list, and then beat you to a pulp when you don't get the same results they wished for. Most dishwashers can be adjusted for height in the bottom level. The adjustment is in the top level. Simply slide out the top drawer and see if there is not a separate set of wheels. If there are, pull the drawer completely out and reinsert using the other set of wheels. If this works, I'd hate to be your wife. Most stores make the top look bigger than the bottom. They do this to make the dishwasher look bigger than what it is.

I didn't know that about being able to adjust the shelves. In our dishwasher, the top shelf is definitely smaller but the bottom one is fairly deep. Your wife is probably right, joe. No harm in new plates. It will look like she is serving bigger meals if the plates are smaller.

In all of the dishwashers I have owned, the top drawer slides completely out. You have to tilt it a little bit when it hits the stop.
It has two sets of wheels attached to the top basket........one to raise the drawer making more room for the lower drawer, and the others to lower the drawer, making less room for the plates in the bottom drawer. It's not the depth of the drawer per se, but the elevation it sits on on the top slide.
Here's the Operating Manual for my dishwasher:

First look at Page 2, then look at Page 14.
