Who'd a thunk it? Batman is not immortal? Good grief.
The original Batman (Adam West) died last night at the age of 88. I never really was a Batman fan, nor a fan of "Star Trek". Both of these TV Productions appeared during my "dark years".......years spent during my "extended vacation" in Southeast Asia, thus, I had no knowledge of them until I returned to "the world".
After reviewing the Batman TV series when I returned, I remember being more of a fan of Julie Newmar (Catwoman) than Adam West.
Go Figure?
When I watch those series today, I think................my god...................how horrible they are. But then, it was the new age of TV.......sort of.
Bonanza is still my favorite from that era.

I was never a Batman fan that much either. I do remember that as a child though, I loved to watch the original Superman shows every night after school.
Aussie TV was quite a way behind USA shows back then. We only had black & white TV till 1976 and our shows were a year or two behind what you had. But no superman ever since has quite come up to that original guy, in my estimation. And no other Lois either!!
Bonanza was great too. Still remember that theme music and it must be many decades since that was on!! It was in the black & white era here, I know that much.

Superman was great........unfortunately, he could not run faster than a speeding bullet. He experienced that when he put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger.
Nevertheless, I liked his shows.
