Photobucket is finally working again, albeit still slow because of all of the ads they now have. You can eliminate that if you want to fork out $3 American each and every month. Not for me.
Here's some of my photo's from the past.........still looking for the Classic "Beer Can Chicken" video I posted many moons ago.
Wild Hogs on my Texas Ranch.....mighty tasty they were.
Deer on the ranch....now hanging on the wall.
My Favorite Horses and Dog at the Main Pond
Lizzy........bitten by a rattler at the ranch.
All healed...
On my boat.............Michael Dell's Weekend House on Lake Austin.
Two Drunk Babes I Picked Up Someplace.......One of them is my ex-wife.......can you tell which one that is?
The boat
London Geese
Bubba....a gelding horse
Cal.......my favorite Horse
Paint........Good Horse for the Kids
Tibbi......Thoroughbred Race Horse That Never Won a Race.........now a very quick saddle horse.
El Rey (The King) and a Quarter Horse.......Meanest Horse I Ever Owned....Damn Near Broke My Back One Morning.
He was sold the next day. I contemplated taking him to the Glue Factory.
Enjoyed the photos. What is that black thing on stilts near the animals? Is it a solar panel? Lizzie looks like a top dog.
As for Michael Dell's weekender..it's probably about 10 times bigger than my all week home.
Love your boat. Your ex is in white?
I seem to recall you showing us some photos years back of all of you on that boat. When did you get divorced and remarried? (only if that isn't too personal or anything. I was just curious but put me in my place if the question is out of turn)
PS I am using Imgur all the time now for uploading my photos-fast as the wind, haven't looked back, very grateful for the tip about it on here)
It's a deer feeder. Fill it with corn and set the timer to the time you want it to go off and the number of seconds to disperse the corn.
Unfortunately the Hogs get there and eat all of your corn. I only kill the hogs at the feeders (and with a cross bow)........not the deer. If you don't thin the hogs out, they run the deer off.
Divorced in 2009, remarried in 2014.....I think.that's probably something I should remember.
The Bitch in Green Sherri.
Granty - West Texas is a desert......Central Texas gets about 28 inches of rain per year. Usually it;s green, but not always.
I seriously debated shooting the Quaeter Horse, but I didn't have a tractor large enough to haul his ass out of there. I couldn't dig a hole and bury him because the Rock is about 18" deep.
Daddyo, you're fairly recently married then. Two of my kids were married in 2013. Seems like just yesterday but they both have 2 children now. As my son in law said-married 4 years, 3 years without any proper sleep.
I remember the beer can video. It's probably still on SD somewhere, Can you recall what board it was on or vaguely what year? Or what program you used to save it on? Photobucket account?
I've lost my entire book I was making. The computer was restored, all our files are back but the actual book program-it is still there but empty. I actually came on last night to look out for my post here where I showed a couple of pages & saved them as I have to re-do the lot.
I saved to export files and found a couple but they just seem to show the pictures. The pictures I still have, it was the page format and wording I wanted.
Do you still have the "Old" hard drive? If so, you can buy an external drive case for around $30 in the US from Best Buy. Put the drive in it, plug it into a USB port and it will work as a storage device, which means you can pick the files off of it because you're new drive is running windows, or whatever OS you are using.
If that fails.......there's always tech support......
Thanks for the Heads Up on the SD link. It was October 24, 2009 and posted on youtube, but I think it may have been deleted, I haven't had an account there is 6 years.
I'll see what I can find.
Just looked................I've been wiped out.............I feel so violated.
I'll find a good one from somebody else and post it.
My good news is.. I have a USB stick & found I saved a copy of my Blurb photobook program on it.
I was able to open it so quickly took screenshots of every double page spread and saved them.
Then I transferred (or tried to) the book program to the computer.
It seems to have worked but if it crashes for any reason, I at least have a copy of what I was up to (or almost, it was from about a month ago so not the very latest but good enough) if I have to start over.
I am not sure what sort of a file, but I think it is the original blurb file, which is good. My problem is I was making a book. To do that, I downloaded a program/book format from the site Blurb and was using that. The Blurb program/format was not deleted from my files but what happened was it was empty, as if I had never worked on it.
Because I had it on USB, I have been able to cut and paste it back into the blurb folder and now it opens with my book & I am able to work on it normally. I am a bit lost in that the Blurb program now seems to be that book & only that book, whereas earlier, I was able to make copies of that book, open a second book etc. I am just not computer savvy enough to do much-transferring it back onto the computer was about as cutting edge as I get. My hope is when I finish, I can transfer it to the shopping cart and order. But if not-then I will probably need to delete it all, reload the program and start again. Hence some of the screen shots as I am changing things a fair bit as I go. Plus I will save it all to USB again soon too. But fingers crossed this version will upload to the blurb site eventually.
