OK, we're still trying to drag Sherri out of the 19th Century.....we will prevail, but it might take a while.
The next App that I use everyday is MileIQ.....sorry Sherri, but you need a smart phone for this App also.
MileIQ is an application that you load on your cell phone and/or Ipad, keep it on your body or throw it in the car wherever you go. It keeps track of your starting place (including coordinates or GPS location) and tracks your mileage from one place to another (and gives you the ending coordinates and GPS location, as well as map view from Google Maps. It syncs with all of your other devices including your computer, and you can download the data in either pdf format, or Excel to use .....in my case, IRS deductions for business trips...............Voila.
The beauty is ....................it costs nothing. Try it........it's a great app.
Sherri - if you want a smart phone, I have several in my kitchen junk drawer that still work (when charged). They are all IPhones....4, 5, and 6. The phones no longer work, but if you have WIFI, everything else will. If you want to drag yourself into the 21st century, I'll send you one of these relics....I think I still have the chargers with them.
Don't be a Fuddy Buddy.............whatever that means?

Google Earth
It's free and a spectacular program that will fit on your computer, IPad of Smart Phone.
Simply put in the address and hit the search button and wham......you are on top of it.
If you search for the White House and zoom in on the Rose Garden, you just might see President Trump pissing on the roses with 6 or 7 Secret Service guys surrounding him.
OK....just kidding...the photogrammetry from that elevation cannot pick up something that miniscule.

Just saw the offer of a smart phone. Thanks, but no worries, I will eventually update what I have & just bite the bullet & get a phone.
As for google earth, have been using it for several years-since it first came out I think. I use it to look at some intersections if I am going someplace new, so I know what to look out for as I am driving.
I also use it to look at addresses where ancestors lived (not any too far back, obviously) & try to see if it is possibly the same house. If it seems to be, I snip the scene & I have a new photo to put on ancestry.
The other night I was trying to locate a street in a photo of my dad. It was on a holiday in USA & something about the quality of the daylight suggested Michigan rather than Calif so I asked my friend in USA. We used the street part of the application to see if we could find the exact corner (I could see one street name). Didn't track it down exactly-I think maybe buildings have changed a little. But oh boy, traffic was busy.

Haha that made me laugh.
