i was interested in what a subsea plough was for... and who would be silly enough to drive a tractor underwater in order to pull it ? what does that thing weigh granty ? if i had to guess i'd say 150 tonne ? and what was the contract worth ? 1/2 million pound ? and i googled what it was for, handy little gadget eh www.ecosse-subsea.com/trenching-general-overview/

No idea Rocky, I’m just the fabricator. It’s easy for the engineers to sit behind a computer and design it. But the humble fabricator has to build the thing, for about quarter of the money😕

But the humble fabricator has to build the thing, for about quarter of the money😕 looking at whats getting built you guys must be some of the best welders around, i read that masfab has two full time welding inspectors, do they weld as well or does enough get done that they only have time to inspect ? do they use xray machines or something ?

That’s a laugh Rocky, two full. Time welding inspectors. Ones 67 and semi retired. And the other one idles more welding than inspecting.😀 I know you and daddy-o didn’t see eye to eye. But I know he would of loved the pictures you’ve put up.

But I know he would of loved the pictures you’ve put up. yeh, we had no respect for each other, but dieing puts a stop to that, have to show respect to the deceased, as long as they weren't evil murderers or mozlems or something like that.. so the welding inspectors don't sound like much chop, doe's everything get tested by a third party as well then ?

All the welders have to have the certs up to date before they’re allowed to weld anything. They need a different cert for different types of metal and the wire that they use. As for speak no ill of the dead. I’m going to shit on Delilah’s grave when the old cow dies.
